Medical Student and Resident Book Grant

The Thunder Bay Community Economic Development Commission (CEDC) is proud to provide local students enrolled in medical school with a book grant of $250 per year to aid financially with their studies. Students are eligible all years of the Medical Undergraduate Degree, as well as their Residency.

Eligibility:

  • Student must be currently enrolled in a Canadian university through an MD Program, or Residency Program. Proof of attendance is required.
  • Student must have attended high school within the District of the City of Thunder Bay. Proof of attendance is required.


To Apply:

  • Application should include:
    • Completed application form
    • Proof of enrollment of MD or Residency Program
    • Proof of attendance of a high school within the District of the City of Thunder Bay
    • Current contact information (email address and telephone number) at applicant’s school or place of residency

Thunder Bay CEDC reserves the right to close applications when budget capacity is reached.
